Chinese Dance
Discover the Chinese Dance group's rich history, training schedule, and exciting performances at events like the Singapore Youth Festival and school anniversary.
Founded in 1983, our dance group’s repertoire consists a wide variety of dances, ranging from traditional folk dances, where in some, the technically demanding water-sleeves (Shui Xiu水袖) are used, to modern contemporary Chinese dances.
We are actively involved in many performances to provide platforms for our members to showcase their talents and creativity.

MJR Jams
In addition to learning traditional Chinese dance, our dancers are given opportunities to develop their potential, express their creativity, and explore a variety of dance genres, including Chinese contemporary dance. They are also encouraged to choreograph original pieces and showcase their talents at school events such as MJR Jams, Open House, and the Teachers' Day Celebration, building their confidence, teamwork, and stage presence.
