International Friendship Week
The school celebrated international friendship during the week of 6-10 April.
To kick things off, canteen vendors brought in a wonderful spread of diverse food from around the world throughout the week, enabling students to experience different cultures through food. Their menus included gado gado from Indonesia, tom yum noodles from Thailand, butter chicken with naan from India, summer rolls from Vietnam, kimbap from Korea and more!
Our international students from Thailand delivered an insightful presentation about their homeland at assembly, while CCE lessons deepened students’ understanding of Singapore’s bilateral and multilateral ties. Furthermore, interactive booths on Japanese and Vietnamese culture added to the experience, and some students also connected with peers from Taipei Shijian Junior High School through an online virtual exchange on 10 April.
